Just tap or insert your credit card at the yellow payment terminal, after the payment is processed a power bank will automatically pop out of the station. It will be fully charged and ready to use. Switch the power bank on, with the button on the right side, and pick the right cable for your device (IOS, Micro-USB, USB-C).
It costs $1 for every 10 minutes of the rental. The way it works is we pre-authorize $24 on your card, and once the power bank is returned back into the station, we only keep the rental fee based on how long you use the power bank. For example, if you used the power bank for up to 40 minutes - we charge the fee of $4 and release the remaining amount back to you. If you do not return the power bank within 24 hours of renting it, then you will be charged $24 and also get to keep the charger.
No, you do not have to download an app. We are the first portable charging company in the USA to introduce contactless payment. You can simply tap or insert your credit card at the yellow payment terminal and take the power bank right away.
You can either return the charger back to the same station where you rented it, or you can simply scan the QR code on the back of the power bank to see all the JUUCE station locations. To return the power bank, just insert it back into the station with the logo facing upwards.
No worries, you will be charged a flat fee of $24 and you will get to keep the portable charger. You will be able to charge that charger with the MICRO-USB port located on each power bank.
That means all the chargers at that venue are currently in use. You can wait for someone to return a charger or you can locate the nearest JUUCE station via our JUUCE app or alternatively scan the QR code on the back of the power bank.
Make sure the power bank is switched on using the button on the side of the power bank. You will see three blue LED lights.
